YOUTH/TEEN PROGRAMS

The First Step Youth Programs are about having a great time, exercising youthful passion and thinking for us, all in a safe and disciplined environment!  At The First Step Actors' Workshop, young actors have an excellent opportunity to begin their development in a healthy way; by being encouraged to think for themselves and understanding that's it's not important what others see, it's most important what you see!

In class, our young actors discover responsibility, teamwork, new friendships, and respect. Students are encouraged to follow their hearts and listen to their own ideas. The First Step Youth Programs incorporate scene study, script and character analysis, improvisation, creative writing, personal development exercises, group discussion, audition training, and camera class.

This Program requires regular scene memorization and some homework. Workbooks are mandatory.

Classes run Monday through Thursday from 4:30pm-6:20pm (students must arrive at 4:20). Students attend one class per week.
On-going classes are $165.00/month (taxes included).
