The Audition with Russell Porter. (Teen/Adult)
In this workshop, we re-create the typical Vancouver industry audition experience and focus on removing all the emotional obstacles that often impede an artists’ opportunity for greatness in the moment. With an intense focus on the material, the character, and living truthfully under the imaginary experience, Artists will be guided through the logistical and technical aspects of the audition process. This workshop promises great results and real improvement. Fun and intense, this is an actor’s handbook, and then some!

On The Set with Russell Porter (Teen/Adult)
This enlightening workshop re-creates the complex and diversified experience of life on the film and television set and helps actors cope with the challenges while benefiting from the development of work ethic and set etiquette. Often described as a virtual experience, the Instructor’s will guide the artists in understanding camera, lighting, blocking, staging, set jobs, successful behaviour, personal responsibility and more.
