The First Step teen Program (AGE 15-18)

This age group's focus is on learning to enjoy the craft of acting while striving for a greater level of emotional accessibility and personal discipline. Material becomes more mature and requires students to take risks and make stronger and choices in their scenes, while developing the courage to make a strong commitment to their growth work, class partners and career aspirations.

At The First Step Actors’ Workshop, teens have an excellent opportunity to develop their craft in a healthy way. We continuously encourage the development of our student's personal power and self-confidence while creating a safe place for them to explore new characters and more difficult scene material. Students are encouraged to think for themselves by following their hearts and listening to their own ideas. The First Step Teen Program incorporates scene study, games, exercises, group discussion, audition training, and camera class. Auditing recommended. Please review rules and expectations. Teen Students can have the option of enrolling in First Step or Actors' Centre Program based on assessment and at the Instructors' discretion.

This Program requires scene memorization and some homework. Workbooks mandatory. Please review rules and expectations.

Classes run Monday through Thursday from 4:15pm-6:30pm
On-going classes are $165.00/month  (HST included)
