The First Step summer Programs (AGE 8-19)
First Step Summer Programs are a total BLAST!
Each summer, the entire First Step Youth & Kids Program ongoing classes group together into week long “camp-sets” to make family vacation time more convenient. Registration is first come, first serve and space is limited. The summer program is always popular and over-booked!

The First Step Summer Blast! Ages 7-12 years.
The Summer Blast is a well known and highly regarded Acting Boot Camp for Young Artists both Beginner and Novice. New and ongoing students will participate in Scene Study, Character Analysis, Improv games, Self Development Exercises, Camera and On-Set Work, Creative Writing, Public Service Announcements and a ton more! This busy and fun-filled week is the ultimate journey for young actors! Graduates will receive a completion certificate, achievement awards, an online copy of their work and, tuition coupons for regular classes!

Advanced Week! (Teens only!) 13 and up.
Advanced week caters to our ongoing and experienced students who are advancing to a new level of classes in the fall. Also open to newcomers to our school, this Advancement week is an Intermediate and Advanced program for passionate, dedicated and often professional young actors. Scene material is more challenging, and the expectations greater and accomplishments higher! Agent representation not required. This week, students will discover their greatest potential and fulfill their artistic aspirations.

Film Skool! (Teens only!) 13-18 years.
Helping Youth of all ages understand the potential that exists with basic consumer level equipment and the power of an idea! At Film Skool! Students will discover script development, casting, crew positions, pre-production, set etiquette, basic lighting and camera technique, en-route to filming an original short film in five days! Our young filmmakers will learn the strength in teamwork and the fun in free creativity. Filmskool is a supportive environment where your work impacts the world!
