The First Step KIDS Program (AGE 6-8)
The First Step for Kid’s Programs celebrates the magical opportunity all children have for only a short while: being a kid! Unfortunately, we frequently see kids being taught to act a certain way and then being graded on their "performance". We believe that kids should be kids and there is certainly no grade for that!
We want our students to grow up feeling proud of who they are and unafraid of making mistakes. Like all our programs, children must know that acting itself is it’s own reward! This healthy development not only translates to class work, it translates to the home and school with a new found sense of self confidence inside the audition room as well! It's kids being kids because that's who they are... not kids trying to be great technical actors. That will come in time!
This program is for young actors aged 6 to 8 years. Very minimal scene memorization required. There is no homework in this program. Please review rules and expectations.
Classes run Fridays from 4:00pm-6:00pm OR Saturdays from 2:00pm - 4:00pm
On-going classes are $165.00/month (HST included)
