The First Step
The most recent addition to The First Step family of programs, Film Skool! is an enlightening, inspiring and empowering experience for all who attend. In this fun-filled three month (12 class) program, aspiring filmmakers will discover the unlimited opportunities for amateurs to create and produce film and video productions using consumer level equipment that is often readily available at their own home! Instructors guide the amateur artists in understanding story and structure, project development, a film set, film and video equipment and the rewarding job of being your own independent producer!
Students work in “crew teams” in an all-inclusive collaborative effort to deliver a provided script in an 8 minute film by the end of term screening. Equipment provided. Workbook mandatory. Please review rules and expectations.
Class terms run 3 times per year. Oct,Nov,Dec/ Jan,Feb,March/
April,May,June.
Classes run Saturdays 1-3PM
